	Managing the Generations in the Workplace 8/25/10 ASPIN Indianapolis
	For the first time in history there are four distinct generations together in the workplace. All of these generations have vastly different life experiences that shaped the way they think. This can lead to conflicts in the workplace, and loss of productivity. Find out what has shaped the generations, and learn methods for dealing with the differences that each bring to the workplace. Be prepared for some lively discussions! Learning Objectives : 1. Heighten awareness and understanding of the generalized differences among generations, in order to decrease misunderstandings, conflicts, stress, discomfort, frustration, and miscommunication. 2. Increase effectiveness in the workplace without reinforcing stereotypes. 3. Define solutions for managing the different generations. 	ASPIN Cancellation and Late Fee Policy: Cancellations for any fee-based ASPIN event must be made five (5) business days prior to the event, in order for fees to be refundable- NO EXCEPTIONS. All cancellations must be made in writing by either fax or email. Late Fee Registrations made after the published “Late Fee” date for any fee-based ASPIN event will incur a $10 late charge. These policies apply to both in-person and web-based trainings.
