Four great new classes from ASPIN in the area of Multicultural Issues, Ethics and Child & Adolescent topics. REGISTER
	Multicultural Issues: Working with Sexual Minorities – Gay Men, Lesbians and Bi-sexuals Learning Objectives: To understand varieties of sexual orientation and appropriate vocabulary To review the evolution of beliefs regarding sexual orientation and psychological health To recognize issues of risk and resiliency within the populations To raise awareness of issues still to be addressed in the field To improve clinician cultural competence with these populations 2 CEUs
	Introduction to Cultural Competency Learning Objectives: To increase awareness of your own cultural identity and its impact on your behavior, thinking, and communication style. To broaden knowledge of the demographic changes in the US and Indiana. To have an enhanced understanding of the barriers to mental health services for various racial / ethnic groups in our country. 1.5 CEUs
	Ethical Practice in a Multicultural Society: A Review of Professional Codes Learning Objectives: To review ethical standards relative to multiculturalism and diversity. To understand the need for cultural competence and what it looks like in professional practice. To undertake cultural self-reflection. To plan for personal development toward cultural competence. 2 CEUs
	Common Mental Health Disorders in Adolescence: Overview for the Non-Mental Health Professional Learning Objectives: To examine behaviors associated with common disorders of childhood and adolescence: Anxiety Depression Bipolar Disorder PTSD Oppositional Defiant Disorder Conduct Disorder Self-Injurious Behavior 1 CEU
REGISTER Cost: Members: $40 Affiliate and Panel Providers: $50 Non-Members: $75 (Per Module) Upon receipt of payment, students will be assigned a username and password to log into the elearning server. Students will be able to access the web content 24-7. Students will be given 30 days to complete each full module. The estimated completion time for most classes is between 1 to 2 hours per full module. CEU’s will be awarded after completion of the full module, and are listed on the course description Indiana Professional Licensing Board The Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board has approved\| this organization to provide Category I Continuing Education for L.S.W., L.C.S.W., L.M.F.T., and L.M.H.C.
