ASPIN Education Network The ASPIN Education Network provides innovative solutions to today’s demanding and ever-changing human growth needs. It offers a complete range of cost-effective services including employee enhancement programs and continuing education for professionals. ASPIN is certified to provide continuing education credits through several professional organizations. ASPIN realizes the importance of solutions that fit the true nature of the worker, the workplace, and the goals of the professional. That’s why we create programs that match these needs from both a time and content prospective. ASPIN offers behavioral health clinical continuing education programs, supervisory and management training programs, and case manager training. Behavioral Health Clinical Continuing Education The continuing education needs of the social service professional are as varied as the problems they address. And because of this, ASPIN goes directly to the source by surveying clinical professionals and determines precisely what is needed. ASPIN offers a clinical continuing education training once a month for six hours of continuing education credit. ASPIN is certified to provide the continuing education credits through several professional organizations. Cost: Members: $50.00 Affiliate and Panel Providers: $100.00 Non-Members: $150.00
Click here to register on-line Supervisory and Management Training Programs: Supervisory Skills Certificate Program The ASPIN Supervisory Skills Certificate Program covers critical skills supervisors need to perform such as leadership, delegation, problem analysis, conflict, communication, teambuilding, effective supervision, and time management. The ASPIN Supervisory Skills Certificate is awarded upon completion of three full day sessions. Courses will be offered on the first Wednesday of the month from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Classes will be held at the ASPIN Education Network office. Participants may register for individual days or for the full certificate program. Sessions can be taken out of sequence, and participants can begin the series with any session. Participants do not need to be in current supervisory roles but may attend as a preparatory step towards that goal. Class size is limited, and individuals must register at least five business days prior to training. Click here to register on-line Management Certificate Program The ASPIN Management Certificate Program covers the key components managers need to provide strong leadership in today’s work environment. Topics to be covered throughout training include assessing leadership, interviewing and selection, developing employees, accounting for the non-financial manager, management writing, risk management, and presenting. The ASPIN Management Certificate is awarded upon completion of five of the seven full day sessions. Courses will be offered on the second Wednesday of the month from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Classes will be held at the ASPIN Education Network office. Participants may register for individual days or the full certificate program. Sessions can be taken in any sequence, and participants can begin the series with any session. Participants do not need to be in current management roles but may attend as a preparatory step towards that goal. Class size is limited. Individuals must register at least five business days prior to the training. Classes require a minimum of five participants. Click here to register on-line Case Management Certificate Program The ASPIN Case Management Certificate Core Program covers critical skills case managers need to perform, such as working with families, communication, crisis intervention, assessment, interview techniques, and more. Areas that will be covered include securing housing, financial management, daily living, interpersonal skills, social skills and education. The ASPIN Case Management Core Certificate is awarded upon completion of four full-day sessions. Courses will be offered on the 3rd Friday of each month. Classes meet from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Participants may register for individual sessions or the full certificate program. Class size is limited, and a minimum number of participants is required.
